Hello,

We have a JWM project board with different private tasks/cards on them. Sometimes we need external team members to add information/comments to tasks, but not be able to see the other cards/tasks in the project.

Is this possible to give them view/edit access to specific tasks?

Thanks,

Jamie

Yes. You can. Are you familiar with issue security levels? Essentially what they do is allow you to control access to specific tickets within a Jira project. So the majority of your issues can still be private, but you can open up specific issues to individuals, or a group of users.

For more information, check out this documentation.

Is your project Team Managed or Company Managed? The referenced documentation applies only to Company Managed projects.

Issue Security for Team Managed projects is very different. In that case, issues are restricted to project Roles.
