Send a notification to a user when he or she is added to a project team ?

Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to send a notification to a user when he or she is added to a project team, in Project settings > People.

I know that it's working for an issue but I haven't found it for the project as a whole.

Hi @Aline Veyradier 

Out of the box, no. Jira doesn't sent out invitation to existing users when granting them access to a project. But if a user is new and you add him/her from the project, then he will receive an invitation of joining the site. The standard invitation that is.

Unfortunately the automation in cloud doesn't have anything specific to your requirement. What is your basic requirement behind your post? Maybe we can tackle it somehow else.

Well, I want to inform the project team that the project is created in Jira and therefore, they can begin to use it. 

So far, they have to wait to be assigned to an issue to receive a notification. But in our permission scheme, teams members are allowed to create issue on their own. So they shouldn't wait for the project manager to assign them.
