Hello everyone,
As you can see I am new to the community.
We, as a compagny, recently started working with Jira Work Management.
We really like it so far, but there are a few questions that I hope we find some answers to.
First of all, is it possible to have a standard layout for all of our members of a project?
When I open a project it automaticly groups by priority, but we would like that to change to assignee.
Also, is it possible when I group all the issues by assignee, to sort them on priority? Now we do that by hand, but would be nice to have an action or something that the list gets sorted automaticly, also when a new issue gets assigned.
And my last question, is there a function that issues marked as done can be archived?
Sorry for the may questions, but we would love to make this enviroment work for all of my members.
Best regards,
Maurice
You could create a "standard layout" by creating a dashboard template with all the necessary gadgets, to be used by each project member/agent or team. In addition, you can create a dashboard for the entire project to see cumulative data.
See this article from our blog to make an idea about this approach: How to track multi-team or scaled-agile projects (such as SAFe®) in Jira with Great Gadgets app.
If you have also Jira Software, you could create a Kanban board and configure it to display the data grouped by assignee. This way, it will display a swim-lane for each assignee, showing the issues assigned to that person.
In addition, you could use the Team Wallboard gadget offered by our Great Gadgets to display the issues of each person or the swim-lanes by assignee. This is how it looks like - in this example screenshot the swim-lanes are "By priority", but they can be changed to "By assignee" . The colors can be customized.
Besides the Team Wallboard gadget mentioned above, you can complete the dashboard with additional metrics and KPIs, all offered by same Great Gadgets app. This article might be of great help to identify the additional metrics that you need: An effective dashboard for Service Desk and Customer Support teams in Jira Service Management
I hope this helps.
