Not getting the issue in the list when iam tring to link the issue while creating an issue

Hi,

While creating the issue i am trying to link the issue with other issue I am selecting "blocks" and while entering the issue for some issues I am getting the issue in the list below when I am entering the issue key , but some of the issues are not listed can anyone explain on what logic does this work.

If Iam trying to link the same issue in after creating a story then it is showing in the list

can some one explain the behaviour of linking issue while creating an issue.

Hi @Sunilkumar k , to my knowledge, issues which have not been selected before are not listed and need the exact key. I too find this not very user-friendly. When searching for an issue link to typing the issue key, the summary should always be shown.

But i can see some of the issues which are not selected are listed but some are not not listed, If you know can you please explain on what logic this is done
