Jira Automation - Asignee loading infinite

Hi Atlassian Community,

I am currently working on new automation rules and have an issue with the assignee.

When I create sub-tasks and try to assign an assignee, the list of users is loading infinite and never showing any user in our company.Create Sub-Task - Assignee Issue.PNG

I checked with the admin team and they confirm that I have the same permissions for the project as them.

Also, when one person of the admin team, assigns the tasks to me, I receive an error when I run the automation rule:

User 'ug:xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxxxxx' cannot be assigned issues. (assignee)

Hi Maxim - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I would try using the Permission Helper to see what it might tell you.

Go to Project Settings > Permissions > Permission Helper.

Be sure to use the same issue key as the sub-task you are trying to assign.

Hi John,

thank you for the welcoming message and your quick and helpful feedback.

The Permission Helper identified that my account did not have the "Assign Issues" permission. Now it is resolved.

Thanks again!

Maxim
