How Do I Override A Rule If I Make A Transition By Mistake and Want To Move Back An Issue

Barnett Temwa Msiska September 15, 2022

Hi,

I have set up transition rules where an issue cannot go backwards. I would like to know how I can temporarily move an issue against the transition rules, if I move it forward by mistake.

Thanks

Hi Barnett,

Great question. Something that you might consider doing is creating an "undo" transition and configuring permissions so that only you have access to this transition.

Here's a good starting point in the docs to learn more about managing permissions: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/manage-permissions/
