Can a person be a client in JIRA Service and a user in JIRA Work?

In the company, several collaborators participate as CLIENTS in Jira Service. We've implemented a dashboard in Jira Work for task management, but it doesn't allow them to sign in with the same user they sign in to Jira Service.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, they can.

Jira has four products (JWM, JSW, JSM, and JPD) - if you give an account "product access" to one of them, then they will only have access to that one.

There is a quirk - JSW and JSM users automatically get JWM access as well (for now, it changes for new users next year)
