Hi,
We have tickets that are automatically created daily, weekly, monthly, etc. These tickets are supposed to be assigned to a specific user mentioned in the automation itself. However, it is instead assigning to the actor of the automation.
The issue does not appear to be from the workflow, so what could the issue be please? If any more info is needed let me know.
Thanks.
Image of the automation below, it is also done with more simpler automations where it is just ticket creation (same project):
Hi @Nadege
Context is important for automation rule questions.
Please post an image of your complete automation rule (in one single continuous image), and images of each individual component: trigger, actions, branches, conditions.
If your rule is longer than fits on your browser page, please use a screen capture tool, or browser addon, with scrolling capture to show the rule in one image.
Also please note: there is an active incident with some rules not running. You may follow that here: https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/incidents/50c77g3fb4y3
Kind regards,
Bill
Hi @Nadege ,
please add a screen of the automation, specifically for the step with adding the ticket assignee.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

@Nadege ,
the rule looks correct, it has a specific user as an assignee. Can you please the history of the created ticket, maybe there is a different automation which changes an assignee once the ticked is created.

Found what seems to be the issue. The create workflow transition assigned to reporter. I removed it, but now I am facing a different issue. The automation does not run at all and is being aborted.
