Accidential deactivation for JWM

Murat Oz December 25, 2024

Somehow JWM subscription had been deactivated. We created a ticket to Atlassian support and got reply that its been deactivated by our org admin but when we checked actually what was deactivated was Product Discovery not JWM.

Currently still JWM is not reactivated, we purchased that license till april 2024 and need to continue using it at that time

Hi @Murat Oz ,

There is no separate product called Jira Work Management anymore. It has been merged with Jira Software this year, and now both are simply called Jira.

However, if you have a valid Jira license, you can still create JWM-style projects, which are now referred to as business projects.

We have a valid license till april 2025 but we cannot re-activate the JWM product and our users who has JWM license currently are not able to use the product

Jira Work Management (JWM) is no longer available, so reactivation isn’t possible. You’ll need to use Jira instead. Regarding your ongoing yearly license, you can cancel it, and you’re also eligible for a 10% discount on Jira to ease the migration process.
