user on domain @xyz is not able to change full name.

Hello, 

I have a user on my JIRA Clouse who is registered from a different domain than the one we manage.  Examples his user ID is from @XYZ.com and the domain we manage is @[deleted].com.  My user submitted question to JIRA community and keeps getting the response he needs to contact the administrator.  I'm the administrator and I keep getting error I can not update domain that is not verified.  For domains that are unverified the user must update his own full name.  

This is very confusing, please help!

I think I was on that thread. My understanding is if user is on managed domain you (admin) can manage user names. If user is not on managed domain then it is self-managed at id.atlassian.com. If the user cannot modify please contact Atlassian support.
