Hi
I seem to have an issue with deleting my organization, it says "your organization has products that you need to remove before deleting it If you've recently removed the products, retry in a minute" I have removed all products the keep getting this message over the last week. could you please advice hove can I achieve this ?
We have the same problem, subscription was canceled more then a month ago , organization still cannot be removed due to:
"Your organization has products that you need to remove before deleting it. If you’ve recently removed the products, retry in a minute."
and there are no options to remove products ...
Hello @Andrei Solovei
Have you reviewed the timeline provided in the following document, looking at the timeline specific to the billing experience available for your organization?

Hello @Robert Bojarski
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
According to this document:
https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/delete-your-organization/
"How long will it take?
Removing products from your organization can take several weeks. To reduce the risk of accidental data loss, products aren’t fully deactivated until 14 days after the date the cancellation takes effect. This is usually the renewal date for monthly subscriptions or the date communicated to you by our team for annual subscriptions. You won’t be able to delete the organization until after this time."

Unfortunately, this article is wholly incorrect.
Can someone please update it or provide us with a resolution?
I have cancelled all products that have been created by end users as these actions violate company policy and yet these products remain in our environment

Hello @Matt Sardi
What about the article is incorrect?
Are products still displaying in the organization? If so, has the described amount of time passed since the next billing date that was shown at the time you cancelled the subscriptions?

Hello @Trudy Claspill ,
The article is outdated and no longer accurate. Despite taking the steps that the document outlines, the organizations in question are not deleted and remain in a "ghost-like" state within the environment. Upon accessing the org in question, a notice will be displayed stating that the "org is deactivated," however, never deleted.
I have requested now 7 orgs within our environment be deleted and cancelled, however, nearly 6 months later, these orgs are yet to be removed.

Have you been able to open a support case directly with Atlassian about this?
Here we are just a user community with no access to your environments to do any direct investigation, but with a support ticket Atlassian team members may be able to look directly at the environment and history of it to identify the problem.
If you are/were on a free subscription and have been unable to open a support ticket, please start a new Question on this topic. We can then flag your new question to raise it to the Atlassian team's attention. We can't add that flag to a response on a question, so you'll have to start a new Question.

Hello @Shaquib Imdad
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Please note the documentation is not mine. It belongs to Atlassian. I am just another user of Atlassian products.
Without knowing the specifics of your subscription plan I can only offer two pieces of advice.
1. Review the documentation regarding the timeline for deactivation and eventual deletion of products and how that impacts the eventual deletion of the organization.
2. Open a support case directly with Atlassian for additional help.

Hi @Trudy Claspill ,
In my honest opinion (and as much as I dislike having to say it), I suspect that this is ultimately a ploy for Atlassian to attempt to force customers to upgrade to the Enterprise tier package.
The process to cancel and delete organizations and products is simple, but the timeframe to remove them from the environment is "random" at best. I have found documentation that indicates that this relates to compliance and regulatory policies to preserve data (which is fair). However, as like everyone else, this issue is a huge inconvenience for both admins and devs, not to mention the users of the cloud application.
The process to remove products and orgs is to join it as an admin from the admin panel.
Access billing for that org or product.
Cancel Billing > Select reason or Other (I like to put, "Violation of Company Policy", but please feel free to use your own).
The product and/or org will be removed within a 3month to never timeframe. Some products I have cancelled and removed are gone quickly while others with no data have existed on the site for over a year now.
Perhaps Atlassian will fix this sooner than later.

I agree that there is room for improvement.
I personally have not executed any validation of the documentation to determine that the deletion process either does or does not follow the timeline they have specified.
