I came across an issue using 'Create Sub-Defect' option during the test execution. Upon clicking, the Parent issue (story id) is correctly populated and Sub-Defect Issue type is default to 'Defect Task', which seems to be correct based on the below defect issue types mapping. However, some of the fields populate different predefined list/values comparing to creating 'Defect Task' directly against the story.
In the settings ' Defect Issues Types', I configured 'Bug' and 'Defect Task' type. 'Defect Task' issue type is essentially a sub task for the story issue type.
