Workflow conditions using field value is not working

I am attempting to set conditions for transitioning an issue to ‘Done’ using “value field” on the contents of two custom fields. If field A (single select) is set to ‘yes’, then field B (wiki style render paragraph) can not be empty.
If Field A is set to ‘yes’ then ‘Done’ is not available (this is what is expected), however when text is added to Field B ‘Done’ is still not available (if the field is not null then ‘Done’ should be available for transition). What am I doing wrong?
