I need to add an condition or validation to a workflow transition to require the issue to have a link to a Confluence page.
I have "Jira Workflow Toolbox Cloud" installed.
Hi @Lender Canter ,
I don't work for Decadis, but I am fairly certain Jira Workflow Toolbox uses the same Jira Expressions for conditions and validators as virtually every other workflow app for cloud does.
Going through the Jira Expressions type reference I did not find any reference to linked Confluence pages; there's only issue links. I also poked around a bit on a test instance of ours, but could not find anything.
As best as I can tell, this is simply not possible today. I'll happily be proven wrong here and for any future readers: Re-check the documentation linked above, Jira Expressions have already improved quite a bit over time.
Best regards,
Oliver
@Lender Canter I found one other request like this in community but they ended up using scriptrunner to solve it https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Workflow-condition-to-check-if-the-issue-has-a-link-to-a/qaq-p/584967
Since there were not any examples I pulled up the documentation for that app. https://apps.decadis.net/display/JWTCLOUD/Block+a+transition+based+on+issue+links You will most likely have to do a little trial and error to get it to work but it looks like they support it.
If you have additional questions you can always submit a support issue to the app developer. https://support.decadis.net/

@Lender Canter Did you look at the documentation provided for Jira Workflow Toolbox Cloud it was in the link initially referenced, I also suggested that you look at submitting a support issue to decadis.
