Unable to create tickets from Email

Ajith R S I'm New Here Jan 13, 2021

Hi,

Followed the below reference to create issues from email.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/create-issues-and-comments-from-email/

Below is the error message that I get when performing the email test.

Found 10 unprocessed message(s) in the imaps folder.

Creating user 'no-reply@microsoft.com'.

Hi Ajith,

My guess is that you need to either create all of those users as Jira user (not likely what you want) OR you need to set a Default Reporter to be an existing user in the mail handler you created. What I have done, instead of say using my own userid is to create a single 'email creation user', e.g. email.user@mydomain.com.
