Unable to bulk edit the issues Edited

Eventhough i am a site admin I am unable to edit operation. 

I did this operation for other projects but unable to complete this operation for this project.

Hi @Yogita Karangula ,

there is at least one issue in a status that not allow you to edit it. Usually, issues in status closed are not able to be edited (there's a workflow propertiy in the related workflow associated to that status). Try to exclude issues in that status from your filter and try again.

If you want to edit issues in that status you need to reopen them or clean the workflow property.

Hi Fabio,

Thanks for your quick response. I have 26 issues which are in DONE status (not in Closed status) from the 40 issues.

I transitioned these 26 DONE issues to TO DO again and retried the Bulk edit operation. I see no difference. I am still unable to edit them.

To give more information as a background on the above issue (if it helps to fix the problem)

The project that I am trying to do a bulk operation does not have a group created currently. Since this is a completed project I deleted the group for it. After this I tried the bulk operation which was unsuccessful as mentioned above.

Note:

I really need some assistance on this because I am unable to showcase the work accurately.

please check :

  • You have correct permission to edit issues
  • Your workflow doesn't contain step property in each status that prevent you from edit issues

I created a new project and migrated all these issues and did a bulk change operation.

Anyways thanks for your suggestions.
