Timeline - extend range

Hi, would like to understand if it's possible to extend the time range for timeline in Jira project. As of now it only shows 2 years ahead.

Looked around and cant find information about the issue we experience here.

No, the timeline does not go beyond that point and this is not configurable. In plans (advanced roadmaps) - part of the premium plan - this goes on for years.

Also, in Jira Product Discovery you have a different type of roadmap for ideas, where you can divide work across doing now / next / later. Also an option to deal with work for the farther future.

Looking at a Jira project, where you are basically doing task level planning, why would you need that time horizon? I can't remember ever seeing a detailed planning being accurate across such a long time frame.
