The JIRA API endpoint /rest/api/3/issue/{issueId} param expand=renderedFields has stopped working

Calls to the API endpoint /rest/api/3/issue/{issueIdOrKey}

With the query parameter expand=renderedFields

Has suddently stopped returning the renderedFields field altogether.
