Team autofill

When I create a ticket and assign it to a team member, I would like his team will be assigned too automatically. 

For example: I assigned a ticket to John, and he is one of the developer's team members. 

I would like in the "team" object will be written "Dev".

If yes, it could be done using Automation - can you clarify:

• What type of field is Team? Is it a custom field? Or the standard Team field used in Advanced Roadmaps?
• How many different Teams are there?
