Hello,
I want to automatically send a mail to a specific user with a list of users from a certain group using an automation role for Jira cloud.
As I understand there is no smart value for groups.
Can I get such a list from [~accoundId:group count id] ?
Thanks,
Chana
You might explore using the Jira REST API to pull back Group member information.
Jira Automation can use the "Send web request" action to make REST calls. You'll have to search for information about setting up the authentication credentials, which require creating a Personal Access Token (PAT), and then converting that to an authentication string.
The REST response should include a list that you can iterate through. I haven't done it, but that's how I would approach it.
WARNING: Putting Jira PAT credentials into an Automation Rule can expose those credentials to others who can see that automation rule.
