Hello!
I have a free JIRA account.
I am new to Atlassian products and highly concerned about security breaches that may occur.
1) Due to the thing the default dashboard is Public, if anyone (either an atlassian user, who does not belong to the atlassian stuff, or anyone else) discovers my login name (I mean XXXXX.atlassian.net or if I log into atlassian community or any other of XXXX.atlassian.com), can this person access my default dashboard or any information in my account?
2) Who exactly of the atlassian stuff can access information in my account, which exactly information can he/she access, how exactly he/she can use this information, and in which cases he/she can use this information?
Does this person have to warn me before he/she accesses my account?
Does this person have to get my approval before he/she accesses my account?
3) Can I disable or delete or hide Default Dashboard?
If not, after I copy the default dashboard and make the copied one private, can I disable or delete or hide Default Dashboard?
4) If I install and/or use a plugin app available at your website (I mean any of connected apps), does anyone, who manages this app (I mean anyone of the app's team members), can access my account and in which cases?
Does this person have to warn me before he/she accesses my account?
Does this person have to get my approval before he/she accesses my account?
Hi Mihails,
Jack answered the most topics already perfectly.
As for the "system dashboard" or default dashboard like it is apparently called in Cloud nowadays.
No, you cannot delete it. But if you have created an own dashboard four yourself this one takes precedence.
That means you are presented with your own dashboard but can switch to the default dashboard anyway. It will not be deleted, or vanish.
Cheers,
Daniel
Hi @Mihails Monokandilos , given your level of concern I would refer you to Atlassian Trust Center for a complete response to your post.
Here is some input from me on your specific questions to the best of my ability.
again, I would refer you to the Trust Center.
