Running parallel sprints on Classic Projects

Question

Hi,

I am using a Classic Software Project set up in Jira, and need to run two sprints in parallel.

I have enabled the "Parallel Sprint" feature, as per instructions, but it still won't do it.

When trying to activate the next sprint, I get the message that the new sprint "Can be planned but not started until the completion of above active sprint".

From all the comments I read through, I believe it should work however... am I missing something obvious?

Yesterday me also faced for same issue.

Cleared cache and history. worked fine.

Hi @Sophie Lesaichot ,

Does your board include only one or multiple projects.

If there is more than one project, can you check if there is an open sprint in one of the projects.

Maybe it also helps if you close (and reopen) the current sprint.

If you have already enabled the 'Parallel Sprint' option already then it should work. Can you refresh and check again? Or You can clear the browser cache and check.
