I would like to differentiate the backlog for our development team and our product team and rename one in our kanban view. For example our product team has the name "investigation" instead of backlog and we would like to reflect that here:
Is this possible? If so how do I do it?
Hi @Tyler Alonzo welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You can only have 1 Backlog in scrum board.
The other reference to Backlog (the upper one) must be a sprint with that name.
hi @Dave Mathijs thanks!
That is correct, we have 2 current sprints (one for each team) but wanted to see both backlogs in the same place when both teams are collaborating.
So it is not possible in a scrum board to rename either of the backlogs?

The Backlog by default cannot be renamed. But you can rename the sprint names (even if you don't start them because they are considered a partial backlog).
