Hello,
How can I reduce the time spent on a task?
For example, one of the programmers put the value 2h (by accident) into this field, while in practice he worked on this task for half an hour.
How do I edit or correct this field?
Thanks,
Hi @Eitan yomtovian , Assuming the JIRA Admin has enabled " Time Tracking" feature and the user that has logged the original work log entry has the following permissions:
Work on Issues,
Delete Work Logs, and
Edit Work Logs project permissions
the best way to reduce/edit the work logged on a previously added work log entry is to edit that Work Log entry so that it is set to the new one, thereby reflecting the accurate time for the work completed.
Here is the Atlassian documentation reference - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracoreserver073/logging-work-on-issues-861257349.html?_ga=2.224336594.853808868.1538510345-824083769.1520364716#LoggingWorkonanIssue-Editingaworklogentry
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Kalyani
