This started yesterday about mid-day. When we go to the backlog for our project, we get a completely blank screen. My initial thought was a query got messed up but when I checked the console I saw we were getting a 500 error and an Uncaught TypeError
I have since tried to redo the query that has always been working (project = FYM ORDER BY Rank ASC) and while the query screen does return the expected the data, the backlog screen remains blank.
Also of note is that the Active Sprint screen is fine.
There is another project that I checked and that one is fine for both Backlog and Active Sprint.
No, no changes before we noticed it. After I've tried changing the query up to see if that makes a difference but no luck.
Another project that we have works just fine.
We do have several board that all read from the same backlog. The main board (which is the one with the backlog not working) and 4 team specific boards.
The main difference there is that the team boards filter out everything that isn't assigned to that team. All of the team boards work just fine. I messed with those queries to show me everything (assigned and unassigned to the team) and they work, backlogs are still there.
For some reason, it's just that main board that does not filter by team, it just shows everything. I did try changing that one to filter by specific teams and it still gives me the 500 errors.
I have to think it's something with just that one board and it's query that is wrong but the fact the other boards work just fine makes it a mystery to me.
Yup. Nothing changed. If I go in to edit the board query, all of the issues I expect to see show up. I save that query and go back to the board. Active Sprint still works fine. Backlog is still blank with a 500 error.
Does anyone know what is causing the 500 error? Is it the query or something else with configuration that is suddenly wrong? I just find it very weird that suddenly the backlog turned blank with a 500 error but the Active Sprint view is fine and when I go in to edit that query, it too is fine.
Unfortunately I can't do much more until this evening so as not to disturb the teams while they are working. I'll pick this back up then and try to add my findings, if any.
