Hi there!
We have the free version of Jira. Currently, I'm unable to see the "Plans" tab and not able to creat a new plan.
I believe Plans basic version should be available in the free plan.
Could you please help me with this?
Thank you,
Shreyas
Hi @Shreyas Kogalur and welcome to the Community!
No, sorry. Plans (advanced roadmaps) are a feature of the premium and enterprise plans. In the pricing and features overview it is listed as advanced planning.
Hope this clarifies!
Hi @Shreyas Kogalur -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Adding to Walter's answer...
What features are you looking for in "plans"?
There is already a basic, timeline feature available for project boards: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/roll-up-dates-on-your-timeline/
And if you are looking for something that spans ideation-to-delivery, perhaps look at using Jira Product Discovery, which also has a free plan: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery
Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @Bill Sheboy @Walter Buggenhout ,
Thank you very much!
I was wondering what is included in the Planning - Basic in the image below.
Essentially, I want to extract a capacity planning chart from the data we enter in each story/task. I would then like to extract effort planned against actuals.
Your input on how I can do that is valuable. Perhaps it also means an addon or updated plan. If so, can I get a trial for a month?
