New user cannot view projects

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

We have a new user that we added to our JIRA workspace that cannot see certain projects despite being members of groups that allow access to those projects. This same user was also added as an administrator to the project in question and still could not view. Cleared all browsing data etc with no success. Removed user entirely and re-added them and still cannot get them to access certain projects even if added directly to them.

Welcome to the community! Have you tried the permissions helper? This should give you input on why the user doesn't have acces:
