Just checking if there's a way to pass some parameters everytime I manually trigger a jira automation? My requirement is to pass some value that the automation logic will use to derive the outcome.
Looks like there is an option to prompt for an input when the rule is triggered and we can save the value in a variable as well.. Please see attached and this should answer it all.

There is not a parameter input option for Automation Rules.
The rule can access values in the issue from which you trigger the rule. What type of information are you trying to provide that can't be pulled from the issue?
