JIRA Roadmap BETA linking

In JIRA Roadmap BETA version, it appears only the BLOCKS or BLOCKED BY link associations create the visual line between the linked items. Is this accurate?

According to the documentation, that is correct for the Basic Roadmap (Beta version):
