Using an Atlassian Jira Case (recall that users can also access this same Jira Case using the portal to view external comments), I entered an external comment so the client and all external and internal 'request participants' can see the content. Of course, there is no way to take that back the emails that have already been sent out. But, is there a way to change an external comment to an internal comment so that these comments are no longer visible to "external group of participants" when they continue to view the case in the portal?
When you click on "Edit" below the comment you can change the comment to an internal comment by clicking on "Add internal note" above the comment box and saving.
As you are aware, this won't undo any email notifications that have already been sent.
