Basically, That is the question... Is it possible to add a custom field to the API Response for CreateIssue?
I am getting a feed from another application, creating a Jira issue based on the information, but I need to go back to the originating application and update with the Jira ticket ID. If it was possible to get the original application's ID field (in a custom field) on the response, it would make the process so much simpler.
