Integration with Github organization

I am running in some difficulties integrating Jira Cloud with our Github Organization.

I have installed the Github for Jira app in Jira, and successful linked my personal github account to Jira. I can make commits containing the Jira issue id and they appear in the development panel properly.

I also added the integration to our Github organization, that someone else has admin rights for. They have approved the request for the integration in their admin panel in Github.

The issue is, I can't see commits done in repositories within the organization, seems like it is not connected at all.

In JIRA settings, in the Configure integration for Github page I can see my personal account has been linked, with all 12 repositories and the Sync Status is COMPLETE. There is no mention of the organization there.

Clicking on the "Connect Github organization" on the upper right corner leads me to another page which shows both me (all 12 repos linked), and the organization with 3 repositories.  Only my own username is shown as "connected".

In the attached picture, the top line is the organization, the bottom line is my personal account.

I am not sure how to troubleshoot this, and it is not clear to me if the organization is connected or not. Do we need to go back to Github and troubleshoot it there? Do we need any other type of authorization such as OAuth or DCVS?

(I have the view developer tools permission)

Edit: I tried to troubleshoot things by creating my own organization in github. During set-up, when I do the integration, there is a button "connect" in the organization's status in Jira. Pressing this did the integration successfully, so I now need to find a way to do that with our own organization (there is no such button).

Perhaps one needs to be admin in both jira and github to do this. Any thoughts?

Thank you
