How to remove field in "Create issue" screen from a teams-managed project

I've set up a teams-based Jira project using a Kanban template. I've removed all issue types except for the Bug issue type and removed a few fields I didn't need for that issue type.

However, when I go to create a new issue in the project I still see the fields that I had removed. It looks fine when I go to view/edit existing issues but the problem is in the screen where I create the issue. 

Is there a way to resolve this problem in a teams-based project? A lot of the solutions I've seen so far require me to set up a company-managed project which my Jira administrator understandably does not want.

Hi @Thai Nguyen -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When you are on the Create Issue view, select the ... menu at the top right, Show Fields, and then deselect the ones you want to hide.

Please share the screenshot, where you are able to see that field..?

Follow the below steps to remove the field in the issue type in Team managed project.

project setting >> issue type >> Drag and Drop the field from left to right side.

I've included the screenshots as asked. As mentioned I've removed the following fields

• Attachment
• Linked issues
• Restrict to
• Flagged

However, in the "Create issue" screen I still see the fields.

I think, you are modifying the field in bug issue type and removing in the other issue type.
