User deleted an issue, how can i recover it.
Hi Marta,
Welcome to Atlassian community!
Therefore, deleted issues cannot normally be recovered. By default, Jira does not track deleted issues and deleted issues are lost forever. You can try apps Restore Deleted Issues Jira app, which could help in this case next time.

Hi @Marta Diachok ,
welcome to the community!
unfortunately JIRA doesn't allow to recover deleted issues. You could do that restoring an old backup in a clear instance and, after doing that, export this specific issue and restore via csv import.
Btw, if you have not a backup, you can't do that.
Regards,
Fabio

Thanks :) Could you tell if I can see tasks that are deleted (dont restore them)?

Hi @Marta Diachok ,
deleted issues have been removed from database so you have not the ability to see them.

I think this is a "must-be" feature. Come up with a "trash bin" table idea. Archive a deleted issue in a blob field and keep it available for recovery for 1 week or so. Make the "Restore deleted issue" option available for the administrator. This is a really simple functionality that Jira is clearly missing. Please consider implementing it. Thanks!

Hello,
With the User Activity Audit Log, you can restore deleted issues.
You can check more details in the article as well: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-discussions/How-to-restore-deleted-issues-and-track-audit-logs/m-p/2509087#M21327
You can try the app and if you have any questions and/or suggestions, please let us know via this thread, by opening a ticket on our Service Desk and we can schedule a demo for the application.
Best regards
Nino

Is this a free Jira cloud app? On the Marketplace App Page - it claims to be a free app.
However, under the More Details section it states that this app can be trialled for free for 7 days after. This trial period is also confusing since all Atlassian Cloud Marketplace Apps’ trial period consist of 30 days.

Hey @Hamza Chundrigar - we have since moved Rewind to Paid-via-Atlassian, so you can give it a try free for 30 days, no commitment required (and all features available).
Please let me know if you have any other questions - happy to help!
