Hi all,
Is there a possibility to inherit component and assignee when you create subtasks? How would that be possible?
When we create subtasks the assignee is the admin and the components is "none" despite the parent task having a component?
Many thanks for any help and suggestions!
Best regards,
BJ
Hi,
Automation can probably help with that. Check out this sample Automation rule: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library/rules#/rule/1357127
It doesn't include updating the assignee, but if you play around in the template library, you should be able to find an example you can copy.

Here's the presentation: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/features/automation
Automation was an independent app that Atlassian acquired, and on Jira Cloud some of the features are available for free.

I don't understand a syntax: In the AND condition (related issues condition) what is defined in the matching JQL?
component in ("Risk assessment", "Automated efficiency")
Are Risk assessment and Automated efficenty project names or are they project keys?
