How to create a rule/automation for sending automated email after certain amount of time?

I want to create a rule/automation  for sending automated reminder/follow up email to users/customer. Example - when a ticket has Waiting for Customer status and the customer does not respond in the next 24hrs, an automated follow up email is sent to them.

Hi Abhay - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Try an automation rule like this (where you use your project instead of JIRA in my example). You might also want to try that with a single issue first to see if it works as you intend it.
