How to configure notifications to pairs?

Hello,

I have created a new field in the tasks to add pair programmers, and that is okay, but I need to get them notified when an update occurs (such as a new comment, a state change...).

How could I get it? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hello @icalvelo and welcome to the Community!

If your field is a user or group picker field, you can add that field in your notification scheme by selecting the "User Picker Custom Field" option or the "Group Picker Custom Field Option" and that will send notifications to users in that custom field whenever the event occurs:

Additionally, for specific use cases, you can always configure an automation rule, e.g.

Trigger: Issue Transitioned (or commented, or whenever)

Action: Send email (to users specified in a user or group field)

Hope this helps!

Hello Sam!

We have a team-managed project so the first solution it does not work for us. However, I could configure a few automation rules and I could do it in that way.

Thank you so much for your help!

Hi @icalvelo ,

If I understand your Question..,.

I think that you can do an "Autoamtion" , that notify the updates of the Ticket to the Users informed in this new Field.
