Hi, I'm not the admin for our Org's JIRA and Confluence installs, but we all are continually running into permission issues. Is there a way to (by default) allow view access to authenticates users, for any new spaces by default? And for existing ones, is there a way to do that? I assume the Space Admin will have to do that, but we have not been able to find it.
And then, once the visitor sees the page, perhaps a self-serve link that requests edit access? I assume it'd go to the Space admin?
TIA
Hi @Gary Wong
Here you have a link to some useful information: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/manage-global-permissions/
https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/manage-permissions-on-the-space-level/
For any authenticated users you can add a group in the Space Permissions, they will be able to view everything that is not restricted to certain individuals.
that was amazingly fast response time.. thanks! I'm looking at those two links right now... cheers
