Is there a way to add basic formatting to a text custom field?
We created a custom field for multi lines of text, however there is no way to format within the text field, e.g. add bullets indent etc.
Is there a way to have this custom field include formatting?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Holly
Hi Holly,
For multi-line/paragraph fields you can change the rendering of the field in the Field Configuration scheme for that project to use Wiki-style rendering.
Thank you so so much! I knew there had to be a way.
Appreciate your quick response!
Holly

I can't find that option (it was there at some point, but now is not available anymore apparently)

Jira did a good job hiding it, but it is still there...
1. go to Issues -> fields -> fields configuration
2. Click Configure
3. find the field you need and click: renderers
4. choose Wiki Style Renderer
good luck!
