How do I change the format of the due date field to show dd/MMM/yy?

I would like to change the format of the due dates in the actual ticket to show dd/MMM/yy.  (i.e. 04/Sep/21)

Right now it shows yyyy/dd/MM  (i.e. 2021/04/09).  

I want to show 04/Sep/21. 

 

This happens on all date fields when opening the ticket to view all the details and fields. It does not happen when I am looking at the queue or any reports or filters that have been created. Only in the ticket.

Welcome to the community.

There are global date/time format settings under Settings > System > Look And Feel.

However, there appears to be an open issue where the Due Date field does not conform to that setting. See

That is what I am seeing. I have made the changes to the system look and feel and it shows correctly everywhere but the due date and any custom fields that I have created using the date picker selection for the field.
