In "view timeline settings" on the jira Timeline I enabled the option: "Hide all completed Epic issues". But the Issues which are on "done" are still there.
Should'n they be hidden with these option? If not how I can hide the issues which are "done"?
See image:
Hi @Thomas Brandenburger and welcome to the Community!
The option you selected hides epics that are done. The issues marked done in your screenshot are not epics. And so they will remain visible on the timeline until all issues in the epic and - most importantly - the epic itself are done.
Hope this clarifies!
If your project is company managed, you could add a quick filter to your board that can let you hide done issues.
In board settings > quick filters add a filter that only displays open issues, e.g. like this:
statusCategory != Done
or:
Resolution = Unresolved

Hi @Walter Buggenhout ,
Thanks a lot for your quick answer and your hint for the quick filter. Thats works super.
One question regarding the quick filter. Is there a possibility to make this quick filter enabled by default, so I don't have to enable it always again if I left the Timeline and get back in again?
