Git for Jira - AWS CodeCommit is not working

Yasser Alattas June 23, 2021

I've installed Git for JIRA - AWS CodeCommit and I've attempted to connect the repo with JIRA but couldn't find the connection.

I am not finding anything when it comes to role policy and what exactly should I be giving to the role. However, I attached 2 policies which are CodeCommitPowerUser and customized policy that prevents committing directly to master/uat branches.

That has been said, any git repo needs to be connected via HTTP URL in order to use git commands. In this plugin, it didn't ask me to put the repo URL to clone and nether any information related to the repo name or details (other than region information only)

Basically, what I am trying to do is connecting JIRA with CodeCommit to see the latest commits and link them with task level in JIRA

I experienced the same problem, after adding IAM:GetUser to my policy, it connected. Attaching the IAMReadOnlyAccess policy also works.
