Hi Community,
I am playing around with Automation in JIRA projects and successfully send a notification when a field gets a certain value.
I would like to improve this by checking previous and current value of a specific field so I can trigger a much better notification.
It is possible to access the previous value somehow?
Thanks, Roman
You can use the smartvalue {{fieldChange}}. It carries the old value, the new value, etc.
See: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-smart-values-issues/#--fieldChange--
thanks for the quick reply. Exacly what I was looking.
I will try it out and see how far I get.
Thanks a lot, Roman
