Feedback button

I have been leaving feedback in JiraSoftware for almost a year now. Basically reporting the same problems over and over with no response from anyone.

Now I am taking time (so far about 1.5 hours) from my work to join this forum and type up the formal questions here.

Does the Feedback button work or is there a setting someplace that I am overlooking?

@wilhelm.fp Welcome to the Atlassian community

The feedback button does work and I believe that Atlassian uses the information when planning for new product releases.  It is just feedback though so if you have a real issue or bug you need to submit a support issue to Atlassian here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

If you have specific features that you would like to see implemented the best way is to submit a feature request so others can vote for it.  https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

That's a shame all that time, wasted. There is a button on the feedback form that asks if Jira may contact me so I assumed someone might contact me.

@wilhelm.fp I still use the feedback button because they do aggregate that information.  In all my years using it I have only been contacted once on things I have submitted so I don't think it is very common occurrence.
