Done issues not moving from backlog

Hi all,

 

I have inherited an issue where done tasks are not being removed/archived when completed. Some are staying in the backlog and carrying over from sprint to sprint. This is a next-gen project, and I'm wondering what setting it might be.

Is the issue and all its sub-tasks (if any) in the very last column on the board?

It is now, I saw that 'blocked' was the final column on the board, but I switched it around and nothing has changed.
