Hi
I want to ask if Jira 9.7 Data Center does not support customizing issue type hierarchy. Because I did not see the [issue type hierarchy] tab under settings → issue. I want to create different levels of issue types for my project, such as epic, story, task, subtask, etc. and link them together. How can I do that in Jira 9.7 Data Center? Thank you for your help.
I expect to change the issue level to:
Epic→Requirement→Story/Task→Sub-task, a four-level structure.
thanks
Hi @Simon Xiao,
You should be able to configure issue hierarchy from Manage Apps > Advanced Roadmaps Hierarchy Configuration. See official documenation here.
Hierarchy levels can - however - only be added above the Epic level, not below.
Hope this helps!
