Create copy of issue from service desk project to main project

Hi All,

I am trying to create copy of issue from Service Desk project to main project. I tried to Clone the issue in Service desk project but don't see the option to Move the cloned issue  to another project. Am i missing on any rights/privileges? Also is there any other way to move the cloned issue to another project in case i don't get the needed privileges.

Hello @Patne, Pravin (Contractor)

What steps are you taking to clone the issue? Are you using the Clone option from the More Actions menu?

If so, you have to first complete the Clone process and then execute the Move process separately. If you have permission to Move the issue then you would see the Move option in the More Actions menu also.

If you don't see the Move option then you don't have the necessary permissions. You would have to ask somebody who does have those permissions to move the issue for you.

If this is a frequently repeated process the Project Administrator might be able to construct an Automation Rule that could be used to clone issues to another project rather than cloning and then moving the issue.
