Create Linked Issue button not working.

Question

I see the "Create Linked Issue" button.  Clicking it allows me to create a task, but it does not automatically relate it to the ticket that I originally clicked it from.  It requires a second step to manually link.   Any idea what I'm doing wrong?   Feels like a bug.

When you click that option does it open the Create Issue dialog?

If so, do you see in that dialog the Linked Issues fields, like this?

If the Linked Issues fields are not part of the Create Issue screen for the issue type you are creating, that could explain why the link is not getting created.
