Cannot assign Issues to Version

Question

In Jira Scrum board, when I try to assign Issues to Version, I get following error:

Error

Could not update the issue(s). Either the issues are not editable, or you do not have permission to do so.

I am able to create issues and update them. I am also able to create versions (/revisions). Can someone please help resolve this?

Thanks Thuan_ Do Dang for your response.

I requested Resolve issue permission. It then resolved the issue.

Quite an obscure one (and with a long dull essay on why it has ended up this way), but check the permissions you have to "schedule" an issue as well as create and edit.
