Automation not triggering on PR Merge from GitLab

Hoping someone has seen this before. I have a super simple automation I created that is not triggering at all. It is set to transition and issue and send a slack message when the PR is merged but the automation doesn't even trigger (according to the audit log). I do get PRs and Branches synched from GitLab as they show in the DEVELOPMENT panel in my tickets so I know the info is making it into Jira just for some reason it isn't triggering the automation. Any advice on this?
